Here is the weekly update for the subject project. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Traffic Impacts:

WIS 29 – Off and on ramps at 50th Avenue closed to September 2025. Median shoulder closures with barrier wall at the 50th Avenue bridge. Single lane closures with a speed limit reduction between County X and County J interchanges. Rolling closure morning of Monday May 5 anticipated.

50th Avenue – Closed between 160th and 171st Streets to September 2025. Closed east of County J intersection to September 2025. Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained throughout construction.

County Road J – Shoulder closures between Highway 29 interchange and 51st Avenue.

Schedule has been impacted by the weather, so traffic switch onto County Road J and 50th Avenue temporary roadways anticipated middle to end week of 5/5, weather dependent.

Work Completed (week of 4/28): Contractor installed east and west abutment piling, continued hauling in fill for the east bridge approach, and continued constructing temporary roadways along County Road J and 50th Avenue.

Work Lookahead (week of 5/5): Contractor will construct the median pier cap, construct the east abutment retaining wall, continue hauling in fill for the bridge approaches, and complete the temporary roadways along County Road J and 50th Avenue.
